True Story:

Actually this image was given a title by our photographer, which is: Midday in the Garden of Good and Evil. The title of this photo, as well as the inspiration for taking the photograph, came from the temptation story in the book of Genesis in the Bible. Our photographer took this shot because the vine was reminiscent of a snake hanging from the tree… tempting Eve, which led to the fall of Adam, and ultimately the expulsion from paradise.

“Then the LORD God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever—” therefore the LORD God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken. He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life.” — Genesis 3:22-24

Also you may note the similarly named booked by John Berendt, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, which also served as inspiration for the title but for no other reason other than it sounded cool!

This photograph of tree vines was taken in a wheat field Smith’s Grove, Kentucky just a few miles north of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Maybe you can put it to some sort of use in one of your projects?
