November is Native American Heritage Month – Sitting Bull Quote
What started at the turn of the century as an effort to gain a day of recognition for the significant contributions the first Americans made to the establishment and growth of the United States has resulted in a whole month being designated for that purpose.
To celebrate Native American Heritage Month Creation Seven has designed this inspirational image of Sitting Bull with his words about humanity and the treatment of our Earth. Sitting Bull said; “They claim this mother of ours, the Earth, for their own use, and fence their neighbors away from her, and deface her with their buildings and their refuse. They compel her to produce out of season, and when sterile she is made to take medicine in order to produce again.” 1
His words, even more critical for our times, reveal that even in his day people (not just white people but all people) have a tendency to abuse and to take for granted this home we call Earth. It is time, for all peoples, to consider on a deeper level the things we try to force upon nature. We need to understand that regardless of which seeds we plant, some for good and some for bad, these seeds will produce fruit after their own kind. Ultimately if we as human beings continue to abuse our home and each other there will be severe consequences. History has proven this time and time again and we ALL must do our part to live in harmony within our environment and with our Creator.

This is known as repentance and it leads to hope. Note this file is provided as a layered TIFF and is editable in Adobe Photoshop.
